Area of Research

Our research interests lie at the interface of biology, chemistry and nanotechnology with particular emphasis on nanoparticles mediated intracellular delivery of therapeutic agent for potential applications in various diseases. The field of specific targeted delivery of therapeutics has been mushrooming. Our research is directed to develop specific targeted nanoparticles and to study nanoparticle assisted targeted delivery for possible applications in various cancer diseases. Our lab develops technologies that use a combination of conventional methods of cancer treatment and immunotherapy in a single nanoparticle platform.

  • Nanomedicine for Cancer Diagnostics & Therapeutics

  •

  • Photons for Targeted Photothermal & Photodynamic Therapy

  •

  • Organelle-Targeted Nanodrug Delivery System

  •

  • Immune System Boosted Nanovaccine Therapy

Our Mission & Vision

We work in the areas of diagnosis and combination therapies for treatment of diseases. Our research program includes design, synthesis, in vitro, and pre-clinical testing of different nanomedicine platforms. As a research team leader Dr. R. VIVEK, with a strong background in Bio-polymer chemistry, we aim to provide the scientific community with valuable knowledge that can guide into the discovery of potential Nano-vaccines.
