About me-PI
Dr. R. VIVEK, is a DBT-Ramalingaswami Re-Entry Fellow, Govt. of India and Assistant Professor & Head in responsibility of Bio-Nano Theranostics Research Laboratory, Cancer Research Program (CRP). I received my M.Sc and Ph.D from Bharathiar University, India under University Research Fellowship (URF) for meritorious student awarded during my doctoral research. I also received several prestigious awards for my research excellence, such as Ramalingaswami Re-Entry Faculty Fellowship awarded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India. Distinguished International Young Scientists awarded by NSFC from Govt. of China. International Post-Doctoral Fellowship awarded by Govt. of China. SERB National Post-Doctoral Fellowship awarded by DST, Govt. of India. I am also awarded American Chemical Society prestigious ACS-Reviewer Recognition awards, and Elsevier Reviewer Recognition awards. Based on my presentation skills, an Excellent Oral Presentation Awarded by Hong-Kong Society International Conference-2016 & a Best Oral Presentation Awarded by International conferences on physiology and medicine-2014. Also, KSMO-2019 Travel Grant Award by Korean Society of Medical Oncology, Korea. I did first PDF program in Biomedical Engineering Department, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai worked in the field of Photothermal-Nanomedicine. After that, I moved to Cancer Research Program at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Bio-Innovation Centre (BIC), DBT-Research Institute to follow my second DST-SERB NPDF program in the field of Photothermal & Photodynamic Nanomedicine. My field and aim of research highly focus on advance nanotechnology research for various diseases including cancer diagnosis, prevention, and treatment with development of an innovative target nanomedicines/nanovaccines for advanced next generation nanotherapy. I have published several scientific research articles and reviews including books (chapters).
